Rated 5 out of 5 by fldallady from Libby Loves It... I was concerned that my Dal/mix would have issues when I switched from regular Dog Chow (green bag) to the Light & Healthy. No problems at all. She ate it all, was satisfied, and she got back her slimmer figure. I will continue to buy this and I might just do a mix of half and half with regular Dog Chow when we become really active this summer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by GUS2011 from Gus's Favorite I have had dogs almost all of my 66 years. And I have mostly fed Purina Products. In the past 20+ years we raised Beagle and Coon Hound puppies and we always . And we always start with Purina Puppy Chow. Now 2 years ago we got Gustav aka ""GUS" he is Mini Schnauzer. I refer to him as Super Dog he would leap tall buildings if he could. But the thing is we fed him Purina Dog Chow till Dec 1st then we connected with the Light and Healthy. Usually he cleans the bowl spotless. And asks for more . He being 20+ 1-2 pounds we feed 1 1/2 cups. He runs and plays and he just has boundless energy. He can pick up a inflated Basketball and carry it. LOL Thanks for being there for Us and GUS also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by toni3210 from My boy loves it! I will be the first to admit that my Boston Terrier, T-Bone, does not get the exercise he should be getting. I noticed a little pudge forming. I always fed him Purina products from the day he came home so I decided to go with the Purina light and healthy. He loves it! He will pick out the soft light beige pieces first then go back to finish the rest. Every time he does this!

Rated 5 out of 5 by XOXOLoveMyDogNZM from Great! My dog, Kate Croft, Black Lab Mix with one blue eye loves this food. Her routine has become much more regular and less stressful, she runs for over an hour every day and needs a healthy meal. At only 43 lbs she eats 3-4 cups food / day. No need to mix in olive oil with this as she loves the flavor too! Thank you Purina! I've fed all my animals Purina since I was a kid. My cat was just put down after 18 years of eating purina cat chow, cat chow for seniors and cat chow for indoor cats. I wouldn't even consider feeding my animals anything but Purina.

Rated 5 out of 5 by luvmypups from Very Satisfied! We rescued a Pit/Boxer Mix a year and a half ago. We fed her the same thing we were feeding our senior Lab which was the Healthy Morsels. She soon developed a pretty inflamed rash on her "elbow". I took her to the vets various times for creams, oral antibiotics, and then eventually tried OTC Benadryl. Nothing was really working. Our lab is old and getting slightly overweight so I decided to give the Light and Healthy a try. What a difference! Our Lab has lost a few pounds and the rash our Pit/Boxer Mix has for several months cleared up in no time and hasn't come back. We are more than pleased with Purina Light and Healthy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mrssnell from My girl feels special. We've had a lot of difficulty finding the right dry food for our 3 yr. old cattle dog/husky mix. She loved a rival brand, but it caused her uncontrollable vomiting. We tried expensive brands. Most of those she wouldn't eat and we had to settle for whatever she would eat. In the meantime, Meg became 3 lbs overweight, so I bought a small bag of Light and Healthy. To our surprise, she wolfed this food down like we had never fed her before. Her feeding times are 8 AM and 6 PM, and she is literally standing at her food bowl waiting for her dinner at precisely those times. What a great product. PLEASE don't change it or phase it out!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Woolythoughts from Picky people-food eater loves it! We have a 3-year-old beagle who does not like dog food. We have tried many, many types of dog food, including wet, but she is only interested in people food or our cat's food.We received a free sample of Dog Chow Light & Healthy, and I was absolutely positive she would stick her nose up in the air. To my eternal amazement, she wolfed this down. Now that she's eaten it a few times, her new trick is to pick out the large 'chicken' nuggets and leave the rest in the bowl. I really don't care, because at least she's eating it slowly
It's still cheaper than buying something that she won't eat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Donna from Great for my dog with a sensitive stomach! I received a free sample in the mail and gave it to my 2 dogs, a Chihuahua and a medium mixed breed. The mixed breed dog was poisoned a few years ago and has been on sensitive formulas since because she could not keep others down. She loved this food and did not get sick from it. The Chihuahua loved it also and needs to lose a little weight so I will definitely buy this food now.
